The ParaStar is 100% Made in Germany and the logical further development of the WaveStar, based on our patent for “one-handed control for single-skin kites” filed in 2017.

- the ParaStar has a 3.1 aspect ratio, significantly improved upwind characteristics, and is ideal for downwind foiling and street kiting.

- the PS has an effective depower function and can be retracted in flight while foilboarding

- the sailcloth is coated on both sides with polyurethane (salt water repellent)

- at the wing tips, in the area of the leading edge there is a drainage for water drainage, as well as air outlet for better packing after retraction

- no additional profile ribs on the sailcloth minimize the weight and prevent unnecessary water absorption

- stiff and colored bridle lines made of Dyneema® (yellow, blue, red) are visible against the ground/in water and clearly divide the three line levels

- the newly developed bridle line construction on the “Air-Halfpipes” minimizes the incoming number of lines on the BOW bar

- the ergonomically shaped BOW bar facilitates hand positioning for pre-adjusting the ParaStar's pulling force. It's very comfortable on the joints, buoyant, and features an additional bow with a safety loop at the front end.

The BOW bar and a soft bag with drainage are included in the scope of delivery of the ParaStar.

The usable wind range depends on:
- your own body weight,
- the size of the board with hydrofoil,
- your own kitesurfing experience,
- the surface and board when street kiting

Therefore, a higher wind range should be chosen during the learning phase:
3.0 ParaStar 12-34 kn
